OMG. I am ____ full right now=P

just returned home from a gastronomical dinner in bkt timah (did i mention that i love that place?) hehe. someday. Someday i will move right in there again and relive my childhood. that place brings back so much fond memories...

--back to the point--

i accompanied my parents to an elaborate (vERy) dinner tonight. while they had a $28-buck 10-course meal each, i had er...some eh...chinese ala carte (passable lah). Wah liao eh. And I am bursting (why do i feel like I will be abstaining from food for the next 3 days) KNS. Sorry. But i think i put on a couple of pounds just within that 2hr dinner. Darn. This time i think i really feel like regurgitating. That simply adorned restaurant was hell exorbitant. 1 bowl of laksa costs like $22 (super steep can!!! a total exhortion considering the mediocre dishes they whipped up) i wldn't exactly go to that unprominent place if not for the lobang. Oh btw, the presentation of dishes are pretty exquisite, making up for the lack of earthly delicacies. All in all, i think that pudding dessert thing was DE best. it's kinda like pavlova but much thicker. A little like cheesecake yet not that cheesy. aparently trying to describe what it felt on my taste buds is impossible for my lack of vocab fails to it do it justice so i shan't even attempt to humiliate myself. Well, well...all i can say...have a go at it :) haha.

Today i watched Philadelphia--starring tom hanks. Boy, was the show good. Was abt a gay-activist, caught up in a lawsuit against his former 'counsillor' (present-'lawyer') colleagues who ousted him because he was a homo who contracted AIDS. Perhaps you wldn't ruminate much abt the fact that he was being ostracized and discriminated but it's a cold hard fact that some pple are homophobic and are disregarding homos like the guy in the show. Well, eventually, the guy sorted the help of ironically, a homophobic and won the case. However, the gay died in the end. There you go. Synopsis of the film. haah
